Looking at other schools which are accreditated, the accreditation academic checklist seems to be:
----------
Are they selling degrees?
Yes - Fail
No - Pass
-----------
Well I already posted a host of threads on this board stating the real reason Kennedy-Western University (or Warren National University as it was later known) failed. Its all tied into those two lying Senators, "Traitor" Joe Lieberman and Susan Collins. They got a couple of witnesses to tell some bullshit. One lying lowlife who was in the Army or Navy or something claimed that it took her 16 hours to earn 40% of her credits. Now I asked several graduates of KWU and not one could verify that this was possible. I think that if you take some "pud" course it might be possible to do one class in that amount of time but 40%? I highly doubt it. And I am certain that it would be impossible to earn an entire degree in that little amount of time.
Mostly the KWU bashers use a lot of non-sequitors to bolster their argument. They will claim that WNU and KWU will accept anyone, as if accredited colleges like ITT Tech do not. They will talk about how anyone with a checkbook can be accepted. And I would ask, how are University of Pheonix's admission standards by comparison? They will talk about the boiler room atmosphere of the sales people who sold this school to potential students. They fail to mention that a lot of accredited online schools are actually worse when it comes to pressure.
When I recently contacted DeVry and talked to an Admission's counceller, my phone never stopped ringing. U of P is pretty relentless as well.
I believe that the reason that KWU was targeted by the accreditation mafia is because they were so successful in selling their programs. They were a major player in the Distance Learning game and this made many accredited programs feel threatened. So KWU became a scapegoat.
And sadly, it was the students who suffered.
