It looks like Degree Discussion is in the throws of final extinction, with only RCD making any contribution. Sadly RCD's contribution is totally incorrect when he claims that DL degrees are inferior to B&M degrees. Just to mention two DL facilities, the Open University (UK) and the Open Polytechnic (NZ), with degrees from these two providers being recognised as 'superior' to many others.
Having worked for the University of Leicester RCD should know that there is life outside the USA!

Nobody with any sense wants to be associated with the stalking cockroaches.
The spammers have more interesting things to say than any of the three people who still post there, and they get more response than Gollum. Definitely a lost cause.

There are two types who post at Degree Discussion, the regulars who are professional assholes, and the unsuspecting know nothings who actually think they will be getting sound advice there. I must admit that at one time I fell into the latter category. I guess I finally saw through the entire "RA or no way" mantra and realized that the board was run by a bunch of jackasses.

DegreeDiscussion Closing
by Goose Sainz on Mon Apr 16, 2012 2:41 am
Due to lack of interest and potential liability for conspiracy, stalking and defamation, we regret to inform you that DegreeDiscussion will be closing.
We certainly have enjoyed damaging the reputations and businesses of innocent people throughout the world, but there comes a time when even hard core stalkers and reprobates such as ourselves must face the facts.
Once again, thanks to the two or three people who actually contributed anything useful to our community. So long, suckers.

Looks like InSainz got punked again. Somebody wake up the Goose! The only thing stirring over there at 11:00 am Miami time is spammers. Goose probably figures pranks and spam are more entertaining than Gollum's stalking and Johann's obsequious ass kissing. Jimmy should perform Extreme Unction--then stick a fork in them. 'cause they are done!

Hey, give the guy a break. He's probably been working hard revising
his kids' resumes. It can't be easy deleting all the old lies and cooking up new ones.

Looks like Goose is experiencing another manic episode. He's gone from a catatonic stupor to total hypomania. Some 15 new threads and posts in one day.

Pacific Western University became NA, and it's name was changed to California Miramar University. Even when the school was named PWU, it was legal and valid and was accepted by those hr personnel in the government as well as the private sector. the school was state approved in california and was licensed to confer degrees by the state of Hawaii. i am still mystified, why this distance learning university became the whipping post for those who approve of distance ed, provided it's "regionally accredited"! PWU was an outstanding institution of higher learning and they conferred legal valid degrees, despite what some pundits say, THEY ARE WRONG! The school always had oversight, and gee...what a big surprise, for some when it was discovered that a distance learning university was devoid of classrooms for it's students. SHOCKA!
