Inside Higher Ed Stifles Discussion
#1
I posted to this somewhat ridiculous article concerning ethics among anthropologists and their work for government or military.

I posted that I believed that anthropologists certainly should consider it unethical to work for a living. Note that normally anthropologists have no real world work so it would be not be unexpected that they would consider work unethical.

My post was removed. It was not in any way vulgar or even critical. It was simply ironic. I guess they are looking for bobbleheads, not real discussion.

Doesn't Inside Higher Ed quote George Gollin as an expert? That pretty tells you where they are coming from and what level of discourse they want.

It came back. It was post #1. Now it's post #4.

Maybe they are beginning to understand that not everyone accepts socialist orthodoxy as the truth.  Or else they figured it was safe to allow you to comment since you aren't in the US.

They take pre stone age hunter/gatherers who speak unique languages and try to bring them into the space age in a few generations. Do you think there are going to be a few problems? No matter how it's done there will be a lot of criticism. Are failures anyone's fault? No, but whitie gets blamed.
