Nosborne talks his way out of trouble with a pissed off Uncle Janko
Posted by: Little Arminius - 09-24-2008, 09:13 AM - Forum: Nominees, second-stringers, others - Replies (2)

As you read the successive Nosborne posts, you can almost feel Nos' fear of insulting the éminence grise of DegreeDiscussion.  Big Grin

BTW, I'm with Uncle J on this issue. I must also say that I find it bizarre that Nosborne, a retired Naval Reserve officer, so easily dismisses the candidacy of retired Naval aviator McCain because Gov. Palin gives him the willys.

Will Jimmy C. write-in Uncle Janko for President?
Posted by: Little Arminius - 09-23-2008, 10:01 PM - Forum: Nominees, second-stringers, others - Replies (1)

Jimmy C. has been especially wishy-washy and indecisive of late. He's not sure who he is going to vote for and wonders aloud if he may ultimately go the write-in candidate route. Will he finally just give up and write in good old Uncle Janko?

Huffman perplexed by WNU situation at DI
Posted by: Little Arminius - 09-23-2008, 07:54 PM - Forum: Unaccredited vs. State-Approved vs. Accredited - Replies (3)

Bill Huffman isn't sure about the developments at WNU (formerly KWU) but nevertheless felt confident enough to use a plumbing/sewer analogy to describe it. It's a great thread - all the idiots over at DI got to post their usual, irrelevant nonsensical comments.

Is Jack Tracey lazier than Gus?
Posted by: Little Arminius - 09-23-2008, 10:25 AM - Forum: Gus Sainz - Replies (1)

Jack has basically picked up the slack while Gus has been attending to, ahem ..., other matters. They are both just posting b.s. links about people jammed up from their use of milled degrees. They don't even touch upon the topic of educational alternatives.

Gus has always been on the extreme fringe of the RA-only crowd and as such is, by definition, a complete asshole. However, he always used to put a real effort into framing and justifying his absolutist view of the world. That ended about the time his personal problems became serious issues. Since then he has been a shell of his former self.

I guess the only question left at this point is which one is actually lazier?

  Gus is Back
Posted by: Fort Bragg - 09-22-2008, 04:32 AM - Forum: Gus Sainz - Replies (1)

Gus just posted a half-dozen fake degree stories pulled off the internet. Suspecting there had to be some reason for the return and the bitterness I checked the Dade County recorder's office and found that he had no new lawsuits for non-payment of debts. I can't determine why he is so fiesty.

The funny thing about this thread is that in the old days Gus would have deleted the original offending link and there wouldn't have been a verbal scuffle. However, with Gus AWOL ...

  Johann reads DL Truth

He seems to because immediately after reading posts here criticising his habit of being a doormat for the Uncle Jankos and Levicoffs of the world, he showed some real leadership on a thread at onlinedegree.net about IGNOU. He does know what he's talking about and always does so politely - he sounds like someone who should be posting here!!!

  Obama's Grades
Posted by: Dennis Ruhl - 09-19-2008, 03:18 AM - Forum: General Education Discussions - Replies (1)

From a random website but it's in a lot of places:

http://www.reason.com/news/show/128461.html

(quote)But the thing Root really wanted to talk about was Obama's grades. Specifically, he was willing to bet a million dollars that he earned a better grade point average at Columbia than his old classmate, and that the only reason Obama went on to Harvard Law School was the color of his skin.(end quote)

So the colorblind Uncle Tom Obama might have played the race card?  Is he still playing it?

For clarity, the "uncle tom" and "obama" combo was not my original - there are 132,000 hits on google.

  McCain's Corbomite Maneuver
Posted by: Don Dresden - 09-18-2008, 01:57 PM - Forum: General Education Discussions - Replies (2)

Sarah Palin is to John McCain what "Corbomite" was to Capt. Kirk in the original Star Trek series.  Kirk bluffed the alien threatening to destroy him by announcing his ship had the substance "Corbomite" incorporated in it, which creates a reverse reaction of equal strength if any destructive energy touches the vessel.

Except this is no bluff.  McCain showed us why ex-fighter pilots should not be effed with, even at 72 years old.  And the harder the socialists try to attack Palin, the greater destruction they do to themselves.

Media pummel Palin while Obama gets kid gloves

Quote:Former top Hillary Clinton adviser Mark Penn says the media obsession with finding skeletons in the closet of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin since virtually the moment she was named the Republican vice presidential candidate could well backfire.

In an interview with CBSNews.com, Mr. Penn said, "I think here the media are on very dangerous ground. I think that when you see them going through every single expense report that Governor Palin ever filed, if they don't do that for all four of the candidates, they're on very dangerous ground. I think the media so far have been the biggest losers in this race. And they continue to have growing credibility problems."

I couldn't agree more. The scrutiny accorded Governor Palin is far more intense and malicious in its intent than any directed toward either of the men on the Democratic ticket. Liberals are driven nuts by the idea that this woman could be that proverbial heartbeat away from being president...

And now the socialists are even hacking Palin's email:

Palin’s E-Mail Account Hacked, Published on Web Site
Sarah Palin’s private e-mail hacked, family photos raided; cesspool blog gloats; feds investigate

Quote:You think Palin Derangement Syndrome is bad now? These by-any-means-necessary lunatics are just warming up.

Hmmm, who does that sound like?  "By-any-means-necessary lunatics," "cesspool," "obsession," "losers," "credibility problems," "malicious," "driven nuts"???????????

The parallels between the DI/DD cyberstalkers and the socialist anti-Palin loonies are amazing.

Clearly the Bear/Gollin/Levicoff/Uncle Eunuch playbook for deranged "diploma mill" cyberstalkers was taken (or plagiarized) from the same source as that of the deranged Palin stalkers.
