Professor Len Returns to DegreeDiscussion

The searches I conducted after my post showed that Len, who fancied himself Prof. Len (what an a$$hole!!!) for a time, was affiliated with SRU before groveling at the feet of Uncle Janko at DI. Janko, who holds a weird sense of nostalgia for apartheid South Africa, used him and abused him. Len allowed himself to be held up as an example of a repentent sinner before slinking away never to be heard from again on the DL fora. He played right into the master manipulator Janko's hands.

Just when you thought that you had heard the last from this fraud, he reappears with a tale about having just completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law. He and Unc swapped greetings in Afrikaans while laying the groundwork for "Lennie's" triumphant return to the DL scene. Any predictions on how long it will take before Len, every bit the con man as Bear, is once again associated with some mill based offshore, perhaps using his connections in Dubai or the UAE?

Funny they should communicate in a dead language. Afrikaaners are fleeing the sinking ship in droves. South Africa is now importing doctors from the rest of Africa and Russia (IUFS graduates?). The education system is in the process of being devalued and newly graduated MDs aren't even trained well enough to get licensed in the real world. In 10 years everyone will be fleeing to Zimbabwe because its human rights record will be better. Have I met some cynical South Africans? A few.

I would be tempted to say more "naive dupe" than fraud or con man, but the fact that he seems chummy with a dirtbag like Janko suggests at the very least his judgment is seriously impaired.

A few.

The situation with the medical schools is an absolute disaster. MEDUNSA*, the Medical University of Southern Africa, was the finest medical school for black African medical students on the African continent. They have now merged it with the former University of the North (a mediocre school at best)  and created the University of Limpopo. If the sub-par web site is any indication of the attention to detail paid by the combined university staff and a reflection on the quality of instruction being offered at the medical school, I can see why its graduates can't pass medical licensing exams.

U of Limpopo, MEDUNSA "campus" web site

* Afrikaaners must love to create acronyms. The sheer number of acronyms still used in SA is astounding. However, I don't think that any of the various black African groups share that affinity and they will eventually rename the entire country anyway.

A SA MD said to me that the state hospitals in South Africa is where people go to die. A relative of a friend of their's went to the hospital to die. When the relatives came to visit her she was in rigor and ice-cold but the chart was filled out up to the hour including blood pressure readings. Standards in SA schools are getting so bad that maybe Bill Grover wants to head back to Trinity and get a real education.

That is what you get when you have a government managed socialist economy.  That is what Hillary and Ted Kennedy (through his boy Obama) want to do to the US health care system.  SA once was a world class economic powerhouse, now it's a joke.  Len, like anyone else with white skin and half a brain, ought to be on the next plane out of there before they cook him in a pot.

That would be quite a site!

It appears the Gollin and the others knew all about "Lennie" quite a while ago. Len claimed that he walked away in from SRU in 2003 and really didn't know much about what was going on. I find that, and most everything else that comes out of Len, to be very hard to believe. Is this guy the biggest con man on the DL scene today or a bona fide victim of circumstances?
