WASHINGTON, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- A female student shot two dead before killing herself on Friday in a technical college in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, according to a TV report.

Baton Rouge police spokesman Don Kelly told CNN that officers arrived at Louisiana Technical College after receiving a 911 call and found three female victims already dead in a classroom on the second floor of the school building, including the shooter herself.

Police have began a thorough investigation, questioning witnesses and looking for the motivation of the shooting, Kelly said.

No other casualty reported in the college so far, he added.

Regional accreditors and their shills breathed a sigh of relief today when it was learned that the latest on-campus slaughter occured not at regionally accredited Louisiana Tech University but rather at one of the 40 campuses of nationally accredited Louisiana Technical College in Baton Rouge.

It was a close call for the RA shills, because all nine of the other members of the Lousiana Community & Technical College System are regionally accredited by SACS.

However, Lousiana Technical College is not SACS accredited, but is accredited by a national accreditor, the Council on Occupational Education (COE).  A sub-unit of SACS until 1995, according to their website the COE now is "a national institutional accrediting agency for the accreditation of non-degree-granting and applied associate degree-granting postsecondary occupational education institutions."

Although RA schools still hold a substantial lead in on-campus slaughter, this latest shooting suggests that NA schools are making such rapid strides toward parity with their wealthier, more politically powerful RA counterparts that now homicidal maniacs are having trouble distinguishing between them.

Perhaps today's mental defectives have found the traditionally placid RA setting, with its many unarmed, sheeplike potential victims, to be passé.  Some may feel that the gritty urban trade school environment makes for a more challenging and emotionally satisfying venue for expressing their repressed rage and violent urges, particularly given the greater likelihood that the intended victims will be carrying weapons or otherwise more inclined temperamentally to fight back.
