Another update on the CCNH website:

Quote:August 12, 2010
This is a general update concerning transcripts, diplomas, teach-outs, money, and transfers. The college will continue to provide information as it becomes available.

Transcripts:
Unofficial transcripts are available at your “My CCNH” account. The college’s transcript files are being prepared for shipment to Alabama’s Department of Post-Secondary Education (“PSE”), which will be the only place to obtain an official transcript. The PSE’s transcript Web site is www.accs.cc. We regret that requests for transcripts sent to the college can no longer be fulfilled. Checks sent to the college for transcripts will be voided; money orders sent to the college for transcripts will be returned.

Diplomas:
Diplomas already applied for will be mailed as soon as possible. Diplomas earned through the Teach-Out program will be issued for students who meet all requirements. Please mail your Graduation Application to:
Clayton College of Natural Health
P.O. Box 2488
Birmingham, Alabama 35201
Attention: Graduation

Teach-Out:
Please see the July 30th posting below. Note that Teach Out has started and the deadlines for submission of work for Term/AEP and Program students are NOVEMBER 30, 2010 AND JANUARY 31, 2011, respectively. Students who have submitted their requests to participate in Teach Out will be receiving confirmation e-mails soon. In the meantime, please continue to send completed work to:
Clayton College of Natural Health
P.O. Box 2488
Birmingham, Alabama 35201
Attention: Teach-Out

Transfers:
We are still awaiting replies from the schools contacted and have no further update other than that which was posted on the Information Clearinghouse on July 20: “We have made contact with several natural health colleges to discuss trying to coordinate a transfer and/or test out program. All with whom we spoke were supportive, asked for time to think about logistics, and said that they would get back in touch with us.”

New update on the CCNH website, this time talking about transfers.  Wonder who the other schools are accepting transfers?  Are there any accredited schools taking CCNH credits? (I bet there are!)

Quote:August 16, 2010

Clayton College of Natural Health has been working with a number of natural health colleges and schools in order to affect a smooth, efficient transfer for CCNH students.

Transfers:
Listed below are four schools that are welcoming CCNH students, their contact information, and information regarding incentives that prospective transferring students may receive. Please note that these are not the only schools accepting transferring CCNH students. The schools below are simply four with whom CCNH has had communications and have provided information with which we hope to assist CCNH students who are interested in transferring.

New update on the CCNH website:

Teach-Out Notice: The deadline for submission of teach-out forms is approaching, and all completed forms must be postmarked on or before September 7, 2010.

Time is running out to sign up for that teach-out!  From the comments on the Facebook discussion there may still be a number of current students who aren't aware of the situation.  Hopefully the little bit of extra publicity provided here can help make a difference for them.

In addition to the original Facebook group (CCNH Student Discussion) that got started back in July right after CCNH closed, there is also a new Facebook group (BURNED BY CLAYTON COLLEGE?).  Each is discussing, among other things, possible class action lawsuits.

One student received a diploma, and attached a picture.  Not that it's worth much more now than the paper it's printed on.  But apparently Clayton really is working its way through the teachout process, for one student at least.
