The Klones are still grudging on Jimmy for a) taking unaccredited programs, b) going for a PhD and likely stealing their thunder, and c) being a nice guy who doesn't fight back when they kick him while he's down. They need to get in their last cheap shots at him before he gets his PhD, wakes up and starts kicking back.
They are afraid that the day is coming when some fish wrap needs a quote from an expert, passes on Gollin for being an obvious crackpot, then asks Dr. Jimmy instead. And Jimmy says something like, "Accreditation is a scam being perpetrated by the wealthy higher education cartel. I worked harder for my unaccredited degrees than I did for some of the accredited ones." Oh the humanity!
