Friction between Jimmy C and Rich Douglas - Little Arminius - 05-01-2010
Jimmy Clifton didn't have to put up with this crap when he ran his own short-lived forum!!! Of course, the active membership was just Jimmy and some bozo who called himself Miguel Stefan and had the Frito Bandito as an avatar. I believe that I may have posted there several times as well. (Just to piss off the late Uncle J, who refused to post in any forum that had any Jamesville/DL Truth poster as a member.)

I remember that. Jimmy would edit out the stuff he didn't like, turning a three paragraph post into two incoherent sentences. I'm glad that doesn't happen around here, or

I'm moving Jimmy ahead of Bear and Johann in light of his health problems. Personally I hope that DesElms goes first but if banging all those Korean whores in the 80's and 90's didn't result in him contracting a fatal STD, I bet that he'll still be around to witness several more Gus Sainz business failures. Meanwhile those of us who eat right, exercise, restrict our sexual escapades to our spouse, attend church, work everyday and mow our lawn will undoubtedly suffer healt setbacks as we age. DesElms will stay a fat load, continue to marry homos, chase hookers and otherwise just act like an asshole, yet live to a ripe old age.

I was hoping that while you were visiting you might want to offer some commentary on what appears to have been an acrimonious discussion. Jimmy Clifton, along with Bill Grover, have always been among the most civil of posters. Personally I have never had a problem with either while I think that you have "thrown down" with both on more than one occasion. On the other hand, I think that you have been remarkably restrained in your exchanges with Vinny123, someone I consider among the top 3 as far as biggest assholes posting on any DL forum (along with Abner and the sanctimonious Gregg "Elmer" DesElms)

Oh, my only conflict with Jimmy is that he hates that I'm dismissive of religion based upon its unsupportable nature logically. I really don't care about Jimmy--he decided to hate upon me.
With Vinny, I've tried to address his posts as they've come.
This isn't emotional with me. I often forget that I've tangled with someone. And I don't have a particular axe to grind. But I do have my opinions, and I'm willing to defend them with the information I can gather. I'm just disappointed that some posters have decided to fight my opinions and posted facts with strictly personal attacks. Sometimes, like with Neil Hayes, I've decided to return in-kind. But generally, I'd rather just discuss the issues.

"Doctor" Hayes hates the fact that after he shopped his duck stuff to Trinity College and University (who sold him a Ph.D.), and after he shopped it to Knightsbridge (same result), others have called him on it. This isn't a case of someone working with an unaccredited-but-up-and-coming school. And this isn't a case where someone has stalked the degree-buyer. (What anyone knows about Hayes is what Hayes himself has posted.)
I'd love to discuss the issues passionately without anyone resorting to personal attacks.
