Some of the best researchers on the internet are here. Let's take a random dissertation, say one concerning the acceptance of unaccredited degrees, and apply some tests for plagiarism. How about the Douglas one?
Has anyone seen the thoughts and writings anywhere else? Was originality ever questioned on any forums? My archives are failing me. Does anything ring a bell? I really need help here.
Note that I am not questioning anyone's honesty, just doing an academic exercise. There is a point but the scumbag lawyer in the back of my head says careful-careful-careful. A person well known to all here and to Douglas tried to pick my brain. I tried and found it missing and thought I'd pick yours.

Yes. There are so many talented researchers here who have an uncanny ability to discover dirt. I want dirt. Somebody just read the dissertation for the first time and had concerns. It could be parallel work. I will say no more on specifics.
Remember that off the bat the diss was really hard to find and it is apparently unavailable for purchase on line. Douglas will send it selectively to those who request it whom he likes.

Rich "Bomber" Douglas sent me a copy and few have hammered him harder than me. I did agree not to disseminate it further without his authorization, a condition that isn't totally unreasonable although not one I would demand if I were in his position.

He refused some people. He must like you.
