Gollin Zodiac Link?

When George Gollin (George D. Gollin, George Dana Gollin) decided to make death threats against Dixie and Hoyer, he used a distinctive symbol: a rifle sight superimposed over the names of his intended victims.


This was a symbol bearing eery resemblance to that used by the infamous Zodiac killer in the '60's.


Now the Zodiac killer is back in the news.  A pregnant Ft. Bragg soldier was killed and the local newspaper received a letter from someone claiming responsibility.

The letter was signed with a symbol similar to one used by the serial killer from the 1960s known as the Zodiac killer. The Observer's sources say it’s similar to a symbol found scrawled in lipstick on a mirror in Touma's hotel room.

You may be on to something there.  Isn't George Gollin (George D. Gollin, George Dana Gollin) the physics genius who can't figure out how to work a spam filter?  Looks like the new Zodiac guy can't figure out how to work the caps lock key on his typewriter.



But let's hold off judgment until we know the cause of death.  What did he do, lecture until she died of boredom?

I always thought Janko had a lot of brains behind the disjointed babble. Perhaps he's recovering from a stroke. Maybe a blood clot formed in his stump.

I see where #18 is George Gollin (George D. Gollin, George Dana Gollin) feeling it necessary to attept to justify the 15 other people involved in writting is dissrtation for him. George Gollin (George D. Gollin, George Dana Gollin) also tries to justify his "diploma mill" crusade.

I still see a barrage of authors behind mr. professor's name.
As a 'first name' he certainly was the originator of the study and had an important role, but by all means not the sole author.
Of course 'maybe that is the way we do it in wonderland', but certainly all those extra authors aren't the guy taking out the garbage or the guy typing the paper or the guy wiring the cables at the lab, right?

Again: i never saw a nobel prize awarded to a row of researchers like that; 2-3 people max...but maybe those physicists just can't do it right.

I count sixteen (16) names.  Unless the laws of physics somehow alter the normal meaning of the English language, "written entirely by me" does not mean "me and 15 other guys."   Gollin is a sad little man desperate to find some meaning in an otherwise mundane and useless existence.  Now that his own little house of cards is about to fall, he can learn the meaning of the word "empathy."
