Damn Doogle De-Doctorated

In what comes as a surprise to no one who knows anything about anything, "Doctor" Dick Dooglearse has admitted that his degree is about as reputable as the child porn front he spends his meaningless existence whining on.

Ph.D. Rescinded

I hate to announce this, but something's happened that I can't fully explain. It turns out that the
angry posters at DLTruth were right. There was a re-look at some dissertations and it was found that
mine wasn't really written by me. Plus, it turns out that awarding a Ph.D. after just 8 months is
kind of a problem, too. As a result, my Ph.D. has been rescinded. I'm no longer a doctor and
I have to return the diploma. I tried to cover this up for years by keeping people from downloading my
dissertation, but it wasn't enough. And I thought, over time, everyone would just leave the
darn thing alone, but I didn't anticipate such a thorough review. Needless to say,
I'm really embarrassed by all of this and need to lower my profile while I sort this out. There's
nothing I can do about it now, and I don't like what it all means, but they were right. So let me just say
Goodbye.

The thread was immediately taken down, but I kept a screenshot for posterity that I can attach here later, if it pleases the court. His butt-bumping-bubble-buddies behind the scenes at DI seem to be scrambling to help perpetuate the cover-up, even in the face of a rare act of contrition on the part of The Doogz. As of yet, there is no proof that the... uh... "Ph.D. (sic)" has really been taken away,only time will tell, but I submit that there exists no doubt that the rest of the admission is 100% true.

Dredging up the decade old Doogle Diss debate? What is this, one of Gollin's acolytes trying to deflect attention onto someone else?

As I recall, the principal issues critics had with Doogle's magnum o' pus were:

(1) his buddy Klempner sat on his committee, raising a legitimate issue of bias and cronyism;

(2) there was some speculation as to how much of the actual research was done by Doogle and how much was really done by Klempner;

(3) Doogle abandoned the original project for several years to pursue other things, then returned to polish the whole thing off in eight or nine months;

(4) the research proved there was enormous acceptance of unaccredited degrees, something like 96% IIRC, but the author concluded this proved they were all bad;

(5) Doogle promised to send copies of the diss gratis to anyone who asked, but then only sent them to his buddies; and

(6) Union went on probation shortly after issuing Doogle's degree, suggesting that when the degree was issued they weren't operating at whatever ethereal standard accredited institutions are supposed to be operating at.

Okay, all that being said, this was a big issue like ten years ago because it tended to demonstrate the hypocrisy of another one of those criticizing others for their educational choices.

The fact that the diminutive doctor of independent study now is pursuing another doctoral degree tends to support the notion that even Doogle thinks his first one might have had a few shortcomings (no pun intended).

On the other hand, unless Doogle is running for public office, I'm not sure why anyone cares at this late date. If Union is going to start revoking questionable degrees they probably have several thousand in line ahead of Doogle's.
