Those who can't do, teach. Those who can't do or teach work for the government!

Don't you feel safer, knowing that the guy who got paid to ignore kids getting raped in the showers is now getting paid to ignore national security? Hide your goats and camels.

Graham Spanier, ousted as president of Pennsylvania State University over the Jerry Sandusky child sex-abuse scandal, has taken a national-security job working with the U.S. government, a university spokesman said.

David La Torre described the job in an e-mail on Friday as a part-time consulting position and declined to provide further details. Spanier and his lawyer, Peter Vaira, didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

Spanier, 64, served as Penn State president from 1995 until his firing in November. A July 12 report by former FBI director Louis Freeh said Spanier, ex-football coach Joe Paterno, and other university officials failed to protect children from sexual abuse by Sandusky, a former assistant football coach. Sandusky, 68, was convicted last month of 45 criminal counts tied to abuse of boys over a 15-year period.

While serving as Penn State president, Spanier led a board that coordinated communication on national security matters between universities and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Through the panel, created in 2005 and known as the National Security Higher Education Advisory Board, university presidents and the FBI discussed sensitive research that might need to be protected from foreign espionage, according to the FBI.

Because Spanier is no longer a university president, he isn’t affiliated with the board, Paul Bresson, an FBI spokesman, said Friday.

Spanier said in an interview earlier this year that his interest in working with the FBI stemmed from when he became Penn State’s president and read about a president at another state university being shocked that a faculty member was under investigation for terrorist ties.

He said he resolved not to be caught off guard in the same way and sought a closer collaboration with law enforcement.

Spanier arranged a meeting with representatives of national security agencies including the FBI, Central Intelligence Agency, Secret Service and Naval Criminal Investigative Service, he said.

“This had never occurred before,” Spanier said. “Nobody from higher education had reached out.”

Quote:ONLY Obama Would Hire Pedophile Enabler,Global Warming Fraud Graham Spanier

One thing that is clear about the despicable rapes of little boys at Penn State University is they were green lighted by the school’s president Graham Spanier.

He knew what was going on, weighed the value of Penn State’s football program against the lives of the little boys Football coach Jerry Sandusky was raping and consciously decided to ignore the ugly crimes happening on his campus. To Spanier the football program was more important than anything else. Why not? Spanier is a low character fake. He also approved Penn State’s part in the Left’s fraudulent climate change “research.”

No thanks to Spanier Sandusky’s crimes finally came to light and Spanier was forced out of his position. In an America not run by Barack Obama, this would have been the end of this bum; but the immoral mongrels who work for Obama have reached out to Spanier and given him a job. Now you and I are paying his salary.

Graham Spanier a man who should NEVER have clearance even to sweep the floors of a federal building had his top secret clearance reaffirmed AFTER Sandusky’s rapes came to light. He now works doing,“part-time consulting…for a “top-secret agency on national security issues.” What? He does what?

His biography says he chairs The National Security Higher Education Advisory Board which is supposed to prevent the theft of sensitive research conducted at American universities. Sensitive research? Would that include fake climate change data? If so they have the right guy.

Penn State joined England’s University of East Anglia in what was the biggest scientific fraud since the “Cardiff Giant.” Penn State’s phony Professor Michael Mann, the creator of the fraudulent “hockey stick” graph, colluded with the fakes in England to lie about and hide any evidence they found that proved “man-made” climate change is a lie.

What national security benefit can we gain by employing a man with a proven track record of approving fraud and child rapes? Is this a “Golden Parachute” payoff from a grateful Barack Obama for Spaniers’ help in trying to pass Cap and Trade with fake numbers? The character of both men says yes.

Quote:Penn State receives accreditation warning
By RON TODT (Associated Press) | The Associated Press – 1 hour 23 minutes ago..

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Penn State has been put on notice by an accrediting organization that says the university's status is ''in jeopardy'' based on recent developments in the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal.

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education, which accredits universities in the Mid-Atlantic region, cited information in the school's internal investigation led by former FBI director Louis Freeh and the severe penalties imposed by the NCAA over the school's handling of molestation allegations against the former assistant football coach, who was convicted in June of 45 child sexual abuse counts.

In an Aug. 8 notice, the commission said that Penn State remains accredited while ''on warning'' but it wants a monitoring report submitted by the end of next month detailing steps taken to ensure full compliance with governmental requirements, that the university's mission is being carried out, that the commission will be fully informed and that Penn State is complying with standards on leadership and governance as well as integrity.

The commission also wants the report to address the university's ability to bear financial obligations stemming from ''the investigation and related settlements, etc.'' It said ''a small team visit'' will be made, a standard practice ''to verify institutional status and progress.''

Penn State officials on Monday expressed confidence that they would be able to address all concerns expressed by the commission.

University president Rodney Erickson said that the commission ''wants us to document that steps we have already taken and are planning to take will ensure our full compliance with its requirements.'' He said he was also confident that officials would be able to ''fully demonstrate our financial stability.''

''This action has nothing to do with the quality of education our students receive,'' said Blannie Bowen, vice provost for academic affairs in a statement posted on the university's website. ''Middle States is focusing on governance, integrity, and financial issues related to information in the Freeh report and other items related to our current situation.''

Bowen said the body doesn't issue a warning unless it believes that an institution can make improvements and remain in compliance, and ''this is certainly true for Penn State.

''We're confident that our monitoring report and the site visit will confirm this to the commission,'' Bowen said.

Quote:Most Recent Commission Action:
August 6, 2012:

To warn the institution that its accreditation is in jeopardy based on information contained in the institutionally commissioned Report of the Special Investigative Counsel (Freeh, Sporkin & Sullivan, LLP, July 12, 2012) and the Binding Consent Decree Imposed by the National Collegiate Athletic Association and Accepted by the Pennsylvania State University (July 23, 2013) and insufficient evidence that the institution is currently in compliance with the Requirements of Affiliation 5 (compliance with all applicable government policies, regulations, and requirements) and 9 (institution's governing body responsibility for the quality and integrity of the institution, for ensuring that the institution's mission is being carried out, and for making freely available to the Commission accurate, fair, and complete information on all aspects of the institution and its operations) and with Standard 4 (Leadership and Governance) and Standard 6 (Integrity). To note that the institution remains accredited while on warning. To request a monitoring report due by September 30, 2012 documenting steps that have been taken and are planned to ensure the institution's full compliance with Requirements of Affiliation 5 and 9 as well as Accreditation Standards 4 and 6. In addition, to request that the monitoring report also address Accreditation Standard 3 (Institutional Resources) with regard to the institution's capacity and plans for addressing financial obligations that will or may result from the investigation and related settlements, etc. A small team visit will follow submission of the monitoring report. To remind the institution that the Commission must continue to be informed of any further significant related developments, including the provision of copies of any and all relevant external reports. The due date for the next evaluation visit will be established when accreditation is reaffirmed.

I know Jerry Sandusky was convicted and I'm sure he did what he was accused of, but, I want to see a lot more before I believe Joe Paterno knew what he was doing. I know people are saying Joe knew, but dead men don't defend themselves very well just as these accusers know.

I would like to point out that Sandusky was an x-employee of about one year when the asst. coach went to Joe and told him that he saw Sandusky was horsing around with young boys who were naked. The new story is that the asst. coach saw Sandusky doing much more, but the story has expanded since Joe's death.

We need to know what Joe knew and when he knew it. Not when people with an ax to grind "SAY" he knew.

Sandusky was not an employee of Paterno at the time he was made aware of Sandusky being too friendly with the boys. He could not have disciplined or fired Sandusky- he had retired a year earlier.

The most Joe could have done is report what he had been told by the assistant coach. This is not direct evidence but hearsay evidence. Police don't get to happy about "They told me that this happened." They want to hear it from the person who actually saw it happen.

I do not say Joe didn't know. I'm just saying there was little he could have done to an x-employee other that tell the story (to someone) reported to him by the assistant coach.

The assistant coach was the one who saw it and was the one to talk to the police. I know his story has changed several times lately as he tries to pass the buck to a dead man. Well, maybe the latest story is the right one, but who knows. He has already told it several times in different ways.

In the end Joe Paterno did not molest any of these boys, Sandusky did. Joe did not see Sandusky doing it, an assistant did. Sandusky was a former employee at this time. Joe may have not done enough, but he did some things. At worst he may?? have done too little. But we would have to know what he knew and when he knew it. Hind sight is the best and is usually right.

On one hand, the great man Big GrinRolleyes deserves full credit for running the stable...but when things go south, he couldn't possibly have known...he's just a very average human being after all...I think all the accreditation cartel scandals mused about over here could be simply explained away in this way...

Penn State had a wonderful geology department at one time. In fact, much research on synthetic diamond development was pursued on the campus, with the help and support of General Electric. I recently found out that a person can take "free" on-line courses from MIT in various aspects of this discipline...everything from Petrology to Stratigraphy, as well as Paleo stuff! You have reading assignments, lectures and web seminars, but no tests...I don't think you receive a certificate, but wouldn't that be sweet!... a certificate in geology from MIT.
