Of course he is going to say nobody saw it coming, because if he says otherwise people with lawyers are going to wonder why nobody did anything. UIUC has been on notice about unethical George Gollin for years, and they haven't done anything about him either. The day after Gollin finally goes postal some UIUC physics shill will come out and say, "Oh my, what a total surprise," and then wait for everyone to stop laughing.
Would be interesting to know what, if any, interactions Brendt Christensen had with unethical George Gollin. Unethical George Gollin was willing to sacrifice the lives of millions of innocent Africans to horrific diseases just to satisfy his insatiable need for self-aggrandizement. This Brendt Christensen asshole probably figured it was worth sacrificing one innocent Chinese girl to satisfy his carnal cravings. Sounds like birds of a feather to me.
