Talking about Bill Puffman reminds me of his famous 'message' - that he believed "A person who thought an unaccredited degree was of some value is the same person who thought that penis enlargement pills worked" I've always wondered how he knew this!
I wonder what is the real value in purchasing fake degrees from fake universities? Lots of people do it, so it must have value to some of them. And what if it doesn't work out? Do you have to go and buy another? And if the second operation quits selling degrees from the guy's house, where does that leave one?
At that point, I suspect, the owner of the ersatz credential should just hold on tight and hope no one looks too closely. In fact, a fake degree from a dead diploma mill might even be better than if the mill was still churning. Less likely to get embarrassed by any future goings-on! Pretty neat!
