There are real school guides out there and real college presidents and professors who know and can give good advice on the degree programs that are right for the individual. If you listen to Bear / Douglas / Gollin.....etc. all you get is what is best for their bank accounts. That's how you got the (Summit & Kennedy Western are good schools) and now (Excelsior & TESC / Charter Oak) are good schools, really the flavor of the times, not really good. So people have to ask themselves this question. Do you want advice that is good for you or for their bank accounts? Do you want to listen to people who measure all their advice according to how much TV time they get or if you will actually be able to get the degree and have career success?
You can do better with a degree from Kennedy Western than to do a few classes from UOP, and then, like about 95% of the people who try UOP, drop out. Do they tell you that almost everyone who tries UOP or Heriot Watt will not finish the degrees? no they don't.
Here is the way it is. They are in this to help themselves to money, TV time, or both, nothing more. So help yourselves and do what is best for you, not them. Getting their pictures in the papers isn't our responsibility, nor is a transfer of our money to their wallets to our benefit. Let them sell their porn and poor advice to the losers who need leaders to follow, we don't need that. We can think for ourselves, and do.

My mommy and daddy bought me that expensive Ivy League degree to show the world they cared about me. But now I'm the one who has to work at this stupid, boring job teaching physics to a bunch of idiot dimbulb college kids.
I'm trying hard to be like my hero, Dr. John Bear, who writes books and does interviews and all kinds of really neat stuff. He's not boring like me.
But now these degree mill guys are all making fun of me, and getting me in trouble at school and all kinds of ####. They're making fun of my wife, and calling me mean names, and making fun of my bald head too.
Plus they are calling me a "homo" too, just like all you guys did in high school. It's all very depressing.
Can't someone help me please? Did any of you guys grow up to be psychiatrists or psychologists?

He is such a rabid Bush hater you wonder why the feds would give such a socialist loser the time of day. He and Robert "Big Dog" Fleming make such a charming couple there, each complementing the other with irrational commentary on opposing ends of the spectrum. Reads like what the McLaughlin Group would be like if the panel was composed entirely of homeless winos.

Bear created Gollin. When the SRU thing blows up in Gollin's face I wonder how many milliseconds will pass before Bear starts backing away? Likely justifications: "Times change." "I was compelled to do it." "Never place friendship above profit." (Oops, last one was Ferengi Rule of Acquisition 21.)
But why wait until then? Haven't seen any of that "Carpmaster" crap lately. Has Bear already cut the cord?
