Since George Gollin (George D. Gollin, George Dana Gollin) has his nose up people's asses from Liberia to Washington state, he can't very well claim that he isn't responsible for what goes on at his own campus.
But that apparently is how they do it in Illinois. When UIUC provost Linda Katehi fled Illinois for greener pastures at UC Davis, she also refused to comment on her responsibility for the scandal.
She later sent a "note" to UC Davis officials claiming she was "not involved in the admissions decisions."
California state senator Leland Yee called bullshit:
Too bad senator Yee isn't working in Illinois, where he can call bullshit on George Gollin (George D. Gollin, George Dana Gollin) too. Is George Gollin going to continue this "see no evil, hear no evil" approach, and just cover up what may be going on too?

Quote:"It's interesting that she says, 'It's above my pay grade,' and that's that," he told The Chronicle. "Is she going to continue this 'see no evil, hear no evil,' approach, and just cover up what may be going on?"http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cg...187M9K.DTL
