There are times, I believe, that a person may be justified in turning the other cheek, and / or showing mercy to a brave fallen enemy, BUT, I don't consider the attacks made by snakes to be brave or honorable.
Both Neil and I have had the opportunity to be called, shills-liars-frauds by the gang, and almost all of those attacks have been supported by John Bear with his cute little spell-checks and misinformation, and oh yes, his bad memory as to his past history. Gus is one of the ring leaders of the bash and trash crowd at DI /DD and seems to enjoy doing it VERY much.
Now that being said. I don't believe one is required to hand a man a free pass about why an ax that is being sold by the guy is BAD. If the guy is running around saying he is selling the finest ax money can buy, that it will hold an edge for years, the handle is of the finest oak, well, if the head falls off immediately, if the handle breaks out, one must point out that it was a useless piece of crap.
Gus and his family are the victims of his poor busines skills and lack of ethics and morality. Hell, he dug the hole, not us. The fact that he keeps digging, getting deeper and deeper, is his fault. Do we laugh at his incompetence, yep, you bet we do, but we didn't cause it and we have told him over and over the past few years to stop digging but the guy won't listen. So Gus, when you reach China, it's time to put the shovel down, it's deep enough.
