I do not think you "prefer facts." I think you like to go on and on about how unfair it is that you aren't really allowed to sell degrees, and the degrees you sold can get your customers into hot water rather than graduate school!
Were you by chance aiming these points at John Bear?
Good point, Neil. John probably caused more people to get degrees from degree mills, small barely legal church schools, and the legitimate unaccredited schools, than any other source /person, period. And now he helps to out these people who used his advice and schools. SRU was a degree mill that did much harm, but much less than that done by John Bear. For every one SRU touched, Bear would have influenced 100's. He claims to have sold about 550,000 guides. It would be fair to assume that millions saw these guides and many thousands used them. From what I've learned and seen, many of these used the mills and the legitimate unaccredited schools. Since he now claims that the unaccredited schools are all very substandard or degree mills, to me, that means he has confessed to be lying for all those years. Though I in fact dispute his characterization of the legal schools as mills. Not all of them may be good but some were /are, and many others were fair to average.
If SRU is seen as bad, and it is, Bear's work is far worse, and any fair examination of his words and schools will prove this to all reasonable people. He sold them, hyped them, and now denounces those who paid him for that information. That makes him a whore.
SRU bad, certainly, Liberia too lax, of course, Bear worse, without a doubt.
Bear provided the contact information for degree mills for years before stopping under pressure from his lawyer. Hell, he even sent out a free report telling people which degree mills were safest to use, and, he included the latest contact information for these (safer??) degree mills.
