Quote:I never could understand how the courts allow speed and red light camera contractors to be paid on commission. When someone profits for more convictions lying is more likely than the truth. Money is a great motivaor. Mind you, my experience in court is that everyone is lying and the best liar, usually a psychopath, wins.
Speed traps have been exposed as mere money mills for big brother.
In one article cited here involving Bruce Mange Tait, a journalist complained about cops on strike in terms of "loss of revenue" for the county.
Speed traps have been called a swindle and a racket in court sentences, too...doctored software to bill every car...mafia racketeers setting up service company that fund political prostitutes into office...
It's when press extensively parades a few billionaires belonging to a particular group famous for its hysterical behaviour who -alone- account for a sizable portion of party or candidate X contributions, then wonder why candidate X's press releases are faxed from the middle East. That's not a rumor or Hey Fred, it's all over the press.
Big brother may even lose one court case now & then, but so far superior courts always took its side...
One case was exemplar...superior courts set big brother free...there was much fishy, they admitted, but ordering big brother to pay back three years' worth of speed traps would invariably lead nice cozy towns A, B, C and D into bankruptcy...superior interest...
One superior British court even thundered against speed traps used as money mills, but everybody knows is just that and nobody does anything about it.
