Is Uncle J enrolled at SATS?

I didn't watch it; I knew I could find exactly the individual reactions I expected on this thread.
I did DL course assignments instead. Dunno why. Big Grin

Has he ever announced which program he is in? If so, I missed it but he has dropped hints for the last year or so. I'd guess that Uncle J enrolled in 1) SATS or 2) another SA school given his fascination with the "old South Africa", the compatible theology of their programs with his religious denomination and the value you receive for your money.

When he travels to SA to defend his thesis/dissertation, I wonder if he will have his picture taken at the Voortrekker Monument?

It has been forensically demonstrated that a lame a$$ 15yo online was believed to be a gold medalist strongman & biochemist. Everyone believed him as he advised to try drug concoctions as 'online expert' and 'super-moderator', and he even fooled business owners & chemical companies into sending him drugs & chemicals.

No wonder people still lend credibility to the degreeinfo & degreediscussion clowns as 'experts'.

I would assume it's not SATS because it has just recently offered doctorates. While the theology of most of the faculty of the public universities of South Africa would be Reformed, the schools themselves would probably cater to most Christian traditions.

None of the schools you named in your choices is a Big Ten school.

Janko seems more like the kind of guy who would like to have his picture taken at Pretoria Zoo, in front of the Man Drill, right next to the Flaming O Terrace.

This just shows once again how the Gang keeps track of our discussion here at DL Truth. Several months ago we pointed out that Sainz had stopped posting for an extended period; within hours there are a flurry of posts by Gus, albeit bogus posts using links to stories on mills.

Now when we point out that Janko has been dropping hints about DL coursework and speculate where he may be studying (not to mention settting up one our polls Big Grin), Janko tosses out that he is studying at a Big Ten school. Let's say that we take Uncle J at his word, I don't know of any graduate programs in theology or a related field being offered at a Big Ten school. Ten of the schools are large state schools and the eleventh, Northwestern University, is an expensive private university with minimal DL offerings.

Uncle J, a notorious tightwad who is still using dial-up Internet service, would never spring for the cost of anything from Northwestern. Maybe Unc has decided to take a course or two as a non-degree student just for the sake of learning something that has always interested him? In that case, I'd guess something from Michigan State, perhaps a course in Foodborne Disease Epidemiology or the Food Regulations in the European Union ? Those sound like arcane enough topics for someone of Uncle J's intellectual stature and Internet personna.

Big Ten? Don't tell me he flunked out of the South African school? How many doctoral programs has our boy been in? Unfortunately you need brains and ambition to get a doctorate. At least he's found the level of his incompetence. I still have a ways to go.

Since Janko, the distance learning expert, never takes distance programs that he is allowed to talk about, I suspect he may be in an in-person program at U of Michigan in Ann Arbor or Michigan State U at East Lansing. They're an easy couple hour bus ride from Hartford.

Janko wouldn't be taking a religious degree. Remember he flunked out of a doctorate in classics at Loyola in Chicago.
