Warnborough College (UK) Meets ISI Accreditation Standards

In May 2013 Warnborough College (UK) was inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), the agency approved by the United Kingdom Home Office to carry out Educational Oversight inspections of Private Further Education Colleges in England and Wales. ‘It is designed to improve the quality of education on offer to international students through Tier 4 of the points based system for student visas’.

Warnborough again passed the inspection in three required areas. It met expectations in: (1) The quality of the curriculum and teaching and learners’ achievement. (2) The students’ welfare including Health and Safety. (3) The effectiveness of governance, leadership and management.

The inspectors held discussions with management, staff and teachers, and conducted formal interviews with students, and examined samples of students’ work. Regulatory documentation was examined by the inspectors. In sum, ‘The college has improved the good standards found at the last inspection’.

Congrats to Warnborough for another good report. Clearly Warnborough is a legit and laudable operation. Let's hope it's detractors now can devote their ample idle hours to scrutinizing real problems in academe, like finding admins who sell mutant lab pigs to the public for food.

Warnborough College's
Certified FOREX Market Trader Program (CFMT)

This program is a collaborative venture between Market Traders Institute (MTI) and Warnborough College. This program combines the MTI-designed "Investment Theory and Practice in Global Currency Markets" course with several additional courses created and supported by Warnborough College.

Course Structure

The pathway to achieving the CFMT (Certified FOREX Market Trader Program) qualification is as follows:

Module Descriptions

1. Investment Theory and Practice in Global Currency Markets
This module prepares students to effectively analyze, assess and trade foreign currencies online. Students will learn how to determine market movements through the correct use of various interpretive and analytical exercises including the interpretation of support and resistance levels, currency trends analysis on short and long term time frames, and the use of various technical indicators such as Fibonacci numbers. This module is taught and supported by MTI.

2. Managing Yourself
This module aims to help you understand yourself - your own characteristics, your motivation, your weaknesses, and your ability to handle all types of situations. It aims to equip you with the necessary skills to handle projects, manage time and stress levels, and face the challenges in the FOREX market head-on.

3. Economics for Market Traders
This module is considered an essential discipline for all managers (whether an independent trader, or trading on behalf of others), providing an insight as to how both Macro and Micro Economics may affect economies as a whole and eventually impact on foreign exchange rates. Managers ought to be conversant with the environmental, financial and economical perspectives in making choices in the investment and trading of Foreign Currencies.

4. Project Management
This course is geared towards ensuring project success by exploring both the technical and social components of project management. Skills learnt including initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing a project. The chance to apply skills comes in the form of a case study project. Participants learn to take the project from initiation all the way through to a close, conducting analyses, and managing risk.

Additional Notes

Students must score a C or above in each subject in order to receive the CFMT qualification.

Any application for exemption on the basis of previous learning or work experience is at the discretion of Warnborough College. Decisions will be final, and no correspondence into the matter will be entertained.

Qualification/Award

Upon successfully completing the Warnborough College Certified FOREX Market Trader (CFMT) program and meeting the criteria listed here, students will be awarded a Certified Market Trader Certificate. They will also be entitled to call themselves a 'Certified FOREX Market Trader' and use the letters 'CFMT' after their name.
