Earlham Top 10 Hipster School

Yes, the alma mater of both Jimmy Clifton and the thankfully departed Uncle Jerkoff has been declared among the top ten hipster schools by no less an authority than Huffpost College. Something to keep in mind when you read their political crap.

Way back in 2010, we ranked America's top 10 hipster schools to much fanfare. Tiny Hampshire College in Massachusetts was voted the "most" hipster school in the nation, prompting its then-president, Ralph Hexter, to dub himself "Hipster in Chief."

We couldn't let 2011 pass us by without ranking the country's most prominent hipster schools. This year, we scoured the country for campuses where skinny jeans, American Spirits and Moleskins are de rigueur. Check out our winners below -- and let the intellectual debate rage in the comments section.

According to one astute review on College Prowler, there are "a crap load of dirty hipsters" at Earlham College in Indiana. "If you don't like PBR [Pabst Blue Ribbon], find somewhere else," the reviewer wrote. O-kay. On a more positive note, the Hipster Handbook reports that "Hipsters tend to receive a strong education at Earlham because there is nothing else to do but study in Richmond, Indiana."

Actually, Uncle Yanko went to the Earlham School of Religion, not Earlham College. Remember the controversy when Yanko falsely bragged about having "all RA" degrees, only to be outed by the NCACS:

Earlham School of Religion is NOT included in the NCA accreditation of Earlham College. The School of Religion is independently accredited by ATS.

But no doubt about it, the good Rev. JC is definitely a hipster. Dig them tats.

Right you are, DB. Both Clifton and John Weavel-Hudson are listed in the ESR alumni directory: http://esr.earlham.edu/alumni-friends/alumni-directory

But Clifton claims only "completed graduate courses" at ESR, not a degree.

That might explain how the idiot Janko died. He drove his car into a Hipster Trap!

This photo of a hipster trap is allegedly from New York City. Contents: brightly-colored bike chain, American Spirit cigarettes, can of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, and plastic glasses. It just needs a Moleskine notebook to lure in more hesitant prey.

Christian Scientist? Saved himself from an eternity burning in hell by dropping the Iranian apostasy. Now he's going to die from the sniffles by curing himself with prayer. Why doesn't he just go for a drive in an ice storm?
