Ask them to bring David Irving, Israel Shamir or some orthodox antizionist rabbis on campus, then you'll see how much these conservatives care about freedom of speech.
Until a short time ago, absolute freedom of speech existed to criticize&revile Nazi Germany & assimilates (racists, homophobes...)...now this freedom extends to Muslims (guess what, another edition of racists, antisemites, homophobes...).
