A BIG OPPORTUNITY FOR DOOGLEARSE

Quote:But since you don't name them along with yourself, this really hasn't happened. Sorry.

I have discussed and recommended them in threads over these sites. But I see where you're getting at...

Schopenhauer says:

Quote:If you find that you are being worsted, you can make a diversion— that is, you can suddenly begin to talk of
something else, as though it had a bearing on the matter in dispute, and afforded an argument against your
opponent. This may be done without presumption if the diversion has, in fact, some general bearing on the
matter; but it is a piece of impudence if it has nothing to do with the case, and is only brought in by way of
attacking your opponent.

In fact, whoever I may or may not be has no bearing in the contention of Dooglearse in fact using some of the tricks or excuses owners of milled degree are known to use.

For example, a former owner/peddler/director of schools he now refers to as degree mills, who was reported as a millist in the press, with no legitimate academic experience, is for Dooglearse the greatest authority on legitimate distance learning...the only one he could turn to in order to assess his thesis...perhaps because the 2 were friends...

By this very 'logic'Big GrinBig Grin, I can see how dr. Duck can say his degrees were more than kosher...
For Dooglearse the logician...
1 I didn't say Bear could theoretically not evaluate a thesis per se: he has a legitimate doctorate, but he has no traditional academic experience.
2 Dooglearse could try to counter the point saying Bear did run schools that were 'legitimate' when he was there, and went mill after his departure. Very thin point. Many owners of milled degrees say the same thing.
