Gollin knew SLSOM was a victim of this Liberian bribery/extortion/shakedown racket--but continued to spread lies about SLSOM. And in fact boasted that he intended to put them out of business.
What a sordid picture this paints. I might have given some thought to the possibility that gollin was just an idiot and a dupe.
But if this allegation is true it shows he is an evil, malicious, hateful excuse for a human being. I'm seeing a very clear picture of a guy who was desperately obsessed with promoting himself and his own interests, even in complete disregard of the truth and common decency.
I see why Gollin uses dehumanizing terms like "monsters" and "sons of bitches" to describe his victims. It makes it easier for him to justify his own inhumanity. This isn't just socialism run amok, it's evil on the prowl, and it needs to be terminated.
