If this was a representative sampling, nine in 10 CUNY students not only do not belong in college, they do not qualify for their high school diplomas. As for that third who can't do decimals and fractions, they should not have been allowed into high school until they could do sixth-grade math.
CUNY is Middle States (MSCHE, or is that "Ms. Che"?) accredited. Oh yeah, that's definitely the Gold Standard of higher education that we all have come to know and love.
Remember that 25 question test that SRU was giving to potential high school diploma purchasers? Wonder how many CUNY students could pass it? In all seriousness, I would bet the SRU high school diploma buyers would outscore the CUNY students on the same test.
