Klempner does what good liars do, mixing in actual facts with the lies to make his story sound plausible and create some verifiability for the general framework of the lie. When he's caught he pretends like it's just a minor discrepancy and accuses you of being picky and anal retentive, most likely because of some degree mill connection.
Klempner also likes to repeat his lies over and over, until they become self-verifying. People look up the facts and find only earlier versions of the same lie.
Funny how, on the heels of allegations here that Klempner and his clones are anti-military, he digs up a fable about his tight relationship with a "3-star general." Probably some homeless lesbian who used to work at a Salvation Army store in SF.
