Berlin Free University, I had to sign a paper that I did not submit this thesis somewhere else before. That much on decent academic practice and procedure, and it is really remarkable that this person must have been a real hypocrite if he accused someone else of undecent academic practices while himself being involved in such a thing personally.

Very likely the finally departed never "submitted" any dissertation, which means going through the proper procedure...he may or may not have been paying fees to a university over a certain period and may or may not have had work in progress...then he dropped out; that might be all.

From an academic point of view, I would say, the topic in itself is a failure

I say a stoned single mother of three on welfare who get all her philosophy from THE MATRIX or UNDERWORLD might as well get that deep...

and this shows that he did NOT "know" Afrikaans at all as a double negation like this is a basic feature of the Afrikaans language. I pointed this out to him in my reply to that post of him.

I once busted a quack online who pretended to be: 1. son of millionaire diplomats; 2. special forces training officer in a different country 3. bodybuilding medalist 4. biochemist 5. speaking several languages...

The Uncle also used some derogatory German words mingled with the English text in several replies to some of my posts. The words he used are not common in contemporary German but may have been used some 150 years or so ago. I am wondering what literary sources he drew on when posting his "bookish" German.

Typical of people with modest knowledge, mostly gotten from "idioms' books" etc. I still have a few of these books from the times I was learning and I must say I encountered NONE (yes none) of those expressions in real life...

I think we can pretty much describe Uncle Janko as someone who took twelve years to get a doctorate from Zululand and was able to 'accomplish' that only re-using works from aborted degrees...
Hardly a genius and hardly anyone who could or should finger point others...
But then, look at the kind of people he associated himself with...the most successful is -I'm afraid- Thomas Chip White who filmed 70+ DVDs full of gay teen porn...
