In 2012 North Carolina passed Amendment One, making it unconstitutional for the state to recognize or perform same-sex "marriages" or civil unions, 61.04% to 38.96%.

What kind of person would vote against that? What kind of person would announce to the Gay Straight Alliance that they had voted against that?
