That's part of the bigger problem.
Still today, many departments at many universities read like mock no-fly lists crammed with Arab, Iranian, Chinese and so forth names.
Much as in the old days you might have names from Soviet block countries.
Of course, the reason why is it so -we are told- is that those people are so much smarter than you dolt next door...infinitely smarter...or is it?
Then some wonder how comes North Korea might possess atomic weapons...
