I believe that I am invariably the 'duck' that GG, JB, Puffman, Jack the Ripper, RCD, et al, abuse on a regularly basis - mainly cos they have nothing else to do and have little idea about what happens in the real world.

Talking DL I also wrote the Open Polytechnics DL course NZ WETLANDS: a course that discusses ducks (waterfowl) in detail.
Last time I heard about Rich Douglas he was working for the University of Leicester.
It is an outrage that Neil Hayes has been attacked by those cretins and others for what seems like, and is close to, 10 years. What makes it even more outrageous is that those attacks have been encouraged and sanctioned by admins of DI and DD.
Neil's accomplishments are ignored or mocked by those who have their own agenda. If Neil had pursued an advanced degree at Capella or NCU, though, he would be held up as an example for what one could achieve with a DL doctorate. While that vocal faction in the DL universe refuse to recognize Dr. Hayes' work, take note of the recognition he receives in his local community where his work is most visible.
