Homosexuality was always defined as abnormal sexual behavior and a "paraphilia" as well...special interest groups and left wing lobbyists were able to get this "paraphilia" removed, many years ago from the DSM IV "manual of mental disorders"...many psychotherapists believe "without equivocation" that homosexuality is a form of sexual deviance and that it can be treated like other forms of sexual paraphilia. Most homosexuals are in complete denial about this perversion, which makes treatment that much more difficult when one is in denial and rationalizes away this perversion as a legitimate alternate lifestyle.
