Good points. I see it this way. This world has become a smaller place thanks to modern technology. And the threats to individual liberty are universal. Whenever freedom is restricted and when the powers of conformity are forced on the individual, all who support liberty must come together.
I have seen with my own eyes how tyrants can fall when enough like minded people come together (Remember the Berlin Wall anyone?)
