I'm trying to decide which is weirder: majoring in pervert studies or offering pervert studies as a major?
Who pays good money to have their kid "placed" in pervert studies? Even trailer park residents have more sense than that. It may take a village to raise a child, but it only takes two PhD's to raise a radical lesbian cheerleader.
"Queer Theory"? Presumably this would be different than "Queer Practice," in which Levicunt majored at TESC.
What kind of job can you get with a degree in pervert studies? DegreeInfo moderator? Congress?

Quote:Meredith Raimondo enjoyed the opportunity to read up on some new directions in LGBTQ studies during her sabbatical. In addition to making progress on her book project on media geographies of the U.S. HIV/AIDS epidemic, she began work on a new project examining the role of border politics in the H1N1 flu pandemic. She also developed several new courses for the CAS curriculum, including a queer theory course, a course on health disparities in the U.S., and a course on global health emergencies. Recent publications include “The Queer Intimacy of Global Vision: Documentary Practice and the AIDS Pandemic,” Environment and Planning D 28, no. 1 (2010): 112–127, and “Generic Definitions: Taxonomies of Identity in AIDS Discourse,” in The Ashgate Research Companion to Queer Theory, ed.
