Looks like Bruce finally figured out what everyone else already knew--he has no future in law enforcement.
He looked around for a new line of work, considered psych, then said, "If Jack Tracey can do it, how hard can it be?"
Now thanks to the ridiculous generosity of Quinzy taxpayers, Bruce can pull the pin with a fat pension and a soft new career that requires even less real work than the old one.
I doubt Bruce would bother with UoP (or vice versa). It's good enough for him to teach the suckers who pay, but he isn't going to mess up his own wall with one of their diplomas. I figure him for continuing on part time at MSPP with real cheeks-in-seats courses, not the online stuff he tells everyone else to do.
And since MSPP "only" charges $1,011 per credit, he can tell people he is actually saving everyone money, just like the liars in Congress do. It's a win/win for everyone except the taxpayers footing the bill. Although some might think it's worth ~$60k to get Bruce off sick leave.
