That certainly seems to be the cartel's strategy--lump them all together so that the casual observer can only see "RA" and "other." The ridiculous Collins show trial featured Pellar's bogus Columbia State, ultimately failed RA candidate KW/WNU, and soon-to-be successful DETC applicant CCU, all lumped under the banner of "diploma mills."
But I really doubt that people who are serious about their education and take a moment to investigate have any difficulty making the distinction. You don't need a degree in automotive engineering to tell the difference between a Cadillac and a Chebby. The buyers of no-work milled degrees invariably know exactly what they are (or aren't) getting; they figure (usually correctly) that others don't know or won't bother to check.
If SRU had two decades to get their house in order would they have been another CCU or Nova? We'll never know because the cartel had them crushed like a bug for trying.
