While it may not have worked out very well in this case, I'm not totally opposed to the concept of some accountability for university professors for their research and publications. Prof. Joseph may be the exception but too many of these clowns use their university professorships as a forum to promote their own personal cause with impunity. A hand or an arm may be a bit much for violating the policy but we could fine tune the idea to meet U.S. standards.
