Quote:Hence for good or ill, France’s ruling class are bright
people – certifiably. Not ours. But didn’t ours go to Harvard and Princeton and Stanford?
Didn’t most of them get good grades? Yes. But while getting into the Ecole Nationale de
l’ Administration or the Ecole Politecnique and the dozens of other entry points to
France’s ruling class requires actually outperforming others in blindly graded exams
False.
All countries work alike.
See the scandal of Sarkozy 'pistoning" (pistonner=promoting unfairly) his own son. It ended on all the media, but he promoted his son nonetheless. Only because certain exams are SUPPOSED to be 'blind' does not mean they HAVE TO be for everyone. The scandals of 'secret' exam papers being circulated to the 'right people' beforehand are quite common.
All this hogwash about merits and competition is just dust thrown in the public's eyes to mask the good old ways.
PS...
and one ought to get up to his eyeballs in debt to go to school learning'
from these motherf-cking hacks, whose only merit is to sip champagne and eat caviar with other incompetent bastards affiliated with some slimy cabal? Hire an escort, instead...you may end up getting something for yourself out of the money you spend.
