Ask any 'expert' now and they'll tell you it was mostly a scare to keep the cold war going.

IF (I say IF, because I think they are ALL part of the same grand cabal and stage play ) someone really wanted to inflict massive harm to another, the answer wouldn't be chasing wildly after intercontinental missiles, high-tech biological weapons or some other sci-fi crap that takes billions to build and stuff they don't have.
All it takes it some poison you make at home and make little enemy take it.
If 'terrorists' can down planes and give us mass blackouts (do you remember the blackouts, do you? Oh yes...they say half Europe was in the dark because a cherry tree had been unduly chopped down in Switzerland, remember?), they can do that too.
It's like all the talk about the 'plans' of ZA 'racist government' that supposedly involved 'Nazi stormtroopers', terror squads and nukes to control blacks...none disputes the existence of oppression apparati, but IF (I say IF) they really had wanted to solve the problem, mass sterilization done in secret (far fetched? That is what Hemingway advocates for the Nazis in 1942), forget billions in nukes.
