You may know that the man who held the rights of the once very popular videogame tetris was a russian. At some point western businessmen wanted to secure such rights and thus visited him in the late 1980s. KGB agents were present as well. Royalties were paid, but the russian programmer did not see a cent until much later, after he relocated in the west. Forget socialist nimrods rolling high on the gravy train of public money.
