We do agree that BSU operated for more than two years without proper registration or license, we also agree that they had a connection with St. Regis for a brief period of time and have been using a sort of phony self accreditation. The connection with a phony or non-existent medical school claimed by Gollin is not exactly accurate though. BSU's connection - they just provided pre med courses to qualified students - was with a real university with proper medical training facilities in a small island (I don't recall the name). This university had the connections with the medical schools in England and not BSU.
The question is, do the above facts make BSU a diploma mill if despite all that they provide real and substantial education? OK, let's rephrase this question. Even if we decide that BSU should be closed down because of the chaotic, stupid and inept way it has been run by its administrators, should we ridicule, humiliate and hound its graduates who got their degrees after they completed a proper course of studies, while BSU was properly licensed by a US state?
