Does anyone really know Union's policy on accepting 20 year old coursework? It seems odd that a school would not want its graduates to be more current. Or perhaps Union is more concerned with the cash.
It's not as if anyone in academia takes a Union doctorate seriously. For a purported "education" degree not to have anyone with formal training in education on the doctoral committee seems highly unusual.
I was thinking of taking my doctorate in nuclear physics. My 20 year old coursework should be okay. Maybe I can get Dr. Bear with his PhD in communications to lead my committee. Maybe I can get some miscellaneous administrators of a mix of schools to be on it, including one from a school that lost its California license. Union, which seems to grant degrees in areas they have no expertise should have no problem granting a doctorate in nuclear physics. Or do they consider physics too technical and that education is just bullshit anyways so they don't apply any standards.
