I have heard that medical education in South Africa has gone in the toilet and recent graduates have more dificulty getting licensed in the developed world than past graduates.

A big concern in South Africa is the rampant racism that has institutionalized preference for blacks over whites in desirable positions. Apparently there are a lot of Mugabe wannabees.
