When your wife is more sucessful than you are and you are kicked to the back burner of importance, I guess his remedy is to hang on the coat tails of those who are famous and well known in a sad attempt to elevate his own status. Where's our psychology majors, isn't there a name or phrase for this type of behavior?
Some time ago I showed some of 'the gangs' posts to an educational psychologist friend. She said she was amazed that such posts were allowed on an Internet forum and that all these individuals appeared to be suffering from a severe dose of psychosis:
Psychosis can take many forms, it can include:
Sensing things that aren't really there (called Hallucinations)
Having beliefs that aren't based on reality (called Delusions)
Problems in thinking clearly (e.g. thought insertion, withdrawal, block, broadcasting)
Not realising that there is anything wrong with themselves (called lack of insight)
Seems to sum up the situation nicely.
