Of course, transgrifter George Gollin probably was told to STFU by UIUC legal counsel, to avoid or minimize liability for the massive lawsuit that surely should follow the kidnap, rape, murder and dismemberment of that poor female UIUC student by Gollin's Physics Department colleague Brendt Christensen.
Also, we still don't know just what relationship, if any, there was between convicted ethics violator George Gollin and convicted murderer Brendt Christensen. It may be that transgrifter George Gollin worries that any public statement he makes on the topic may be taken as a waiver of his Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination. Waiver may be inferred from prior statements regarding the subject matter of the case, even if the witness did not consciously decide to waive privilege. It would seem that the longer transgrifter George Gollin remains silent on this heinous act the more likely it is that he fears being called into account in some way for it.
