The whole university research system has been politicized, witness the fraud called global warming. Were one to uncover verifiable research trashing the theory, who would be stupid enough to release it. It would guarantee your PhD would get you a job teaching grade 8 science to affirmative action students. Remember - "Hide the decline." Where fake (or non-existent) research on global warming rules the day, who would dream of doing real research?
