"Columbia Pacific is the largest university in the USA and one of the largest in the world. The faculty numbers more than 200, nearly all with traditional doctorates. No other non-resident, doctorate-granting institution has a staff with the credentials, reputation, and experience of Columbia Pacific. Many universities, including Harvard, Yale, and Princeton, have expressed a willingness to accept CPU degrees. I have had more positive feedback from CPU students and alumni than from any other school."

And if the good doctor tells you that there were no accredited schools back then so times were different, well hmmmmm.
Charter Oak State College= Year Established 1973
Thomas Edison State College= Year Established 1972
Union Institute = Year Established 1964
Excelsior / University of the State of New York = Established 1784

You see these school which we have been talking about these past few years were around during the times when Bear was hyping his own unaccredited schools. But he wanted to make money selling unaccredited degrees from his own schools.
By the way Douglas got his fistful of Excelsior degrees from 1979 to 1981. These are right in the prime period of the Bear years of supporting unaccredited schools as good / usable.....etc.
"The University of the State of New York is the Board of Regents for the state. They are the degree-awarding authority for my two bachelor's (and one associate's), not Excelsior. (I graduated in 1979-1980-1981) respectively."

You see form the rather big mouth of Rich Douglas that there were plenty of accredited options available back during the time Bear was hyping CPU. But Bear wanted your money and CPU was the billfold he wanted filled at the time. So, he recommended CPU to us rather than the accredited school, Excelsior / University of the State of New York, or one of the other accredited schools that offered Accredited DL degrees.
The schools were there back then, but, Bear had other cars to sell. Now, he wishes to sell Excelsior cars, but not back then. The DL expert doesn't like anyone who challenges his poor advice and opinions. Henrik and Dr. Hayes have said that Bear has feet of clay (as he does) and apparently the DL God (JB) doesn't like it. I guess his feelings have been hurt, OH MY, so now he strikes back at Knightsbridge. He has always behaved this way and always will. You do it his way or he sticks you in the back with his knife.
Perhaps Henrik should have bought him lunch and given him a nice watch. Others have obtained good reviews by greasing the wheels.
John B. Bear sent me to CPU to sepak with his wife who was in the admissions office. She was a very nice lady and called me for weeks after that initial phone call to try to sell me on their great degree program. Bear was running a consulting business at the time where he reviewed my resume and said, "You have aleady erned your degree through life experice, you just need the paper to prove it. CPU is an excellent university to provide you with that service."
Little did I know at the time that he had a financial interest in CPU. I wonder if he has ever shared those thoughts with Otho Allen Ezell, Jr. at that time, being DIPSAM was under way at that time.
