Your goons seem to be tongue-tied. I'm sure U of I, UC told Gollin that then next time he or the school gets sued for libel, he's on his own and your lapdog, Douglas, is having his own libel issues.
My guess on the doctorate thing is that it was a comment on the fact that a doctorate in communications isn't like a real doctorate, maybe more like a certificate in basket weaving with a gold foil seal.
