Millionaire Marxist Misogynist George Gollin Caught Lying Again--By Dem Supporter!

Anybody who has read Gollin's tripe on the DL boards over the years knows he's a scumbag and a pathological liar. Now even his fellow Dumb-ocrats are discovering the truth.

"Big Debbie," a Dem shill, caught Gollin red-handed in another whopper. Gollin falsely claimed his primary opponent, Judge Callis, refused to debate him--a full week after she had agreed to debate all the candidates.

So is Gollin's "botched attack" disingenuous or "just" incompetence? Knowing what we know about Gollin, it's probably both.

George Gollin is on the attack in the 13th CD democratic primary. He has been all over twitter and Facebook demanding Judge Ann Callis agree to debate him at the League of Women Voters/NAACP/News-Gazette debate on February 20, 2014:



Heck, if you go to his website something even pops up about the debate.

Then, last night at a local Champaign democrats event his campaign was handing out a letter he sent to Callis demanding she agree to debate him!



The thing I found odd about this, though, was that I had already made a post about the debate back on January 16th wondering if Rodney Davis would should up to the debate. I was told at that time that the organizers had confirmed all the candidates would participate, except for Davis. Confused, I shot an email over to the Callis campaign, which confirmed that they had RSVP’d for the Feb 20th debate “over a week ago.”

So Gollin is demanding Callis agree to a debate she has already agreed to? On twitter, in letters, on Facebook, and in handouts at local democratic events? Is he the only person that doesn’t know she already agreed to the debate?

I’m not exactly sure if this botched “attack” is disingenuous or just incompetence, but I think the latter. Gollin is a good guy and would make a good congressman, but obviously not a good candidate. His campaign has previously said it was “premature” to seek endorsements. Now this botched attack about nothing?

What does the Gollin campaign have planned next?

UPDATE 1/30/14: The Callis campaign has sent out a press release confirming the debates they have agreed to participate in:

Today former Chief Judge and Democratic challenger Ann Callis announced her primary forum schedule, which includes opportunities for voters in all parts of the district to hear about her proven record of fighting for veterans and middle-class families and priorities for Congress.

Callis has already appeared at a Candidate’s Forum hosted by the McLean County Democrats in Bloomington on November 14th. She will be participating in a Candidate Forum in Champaign on Feb 20th hosted by the local NAACP, League of Women Voters, and The News-Gazette. Finally, she has agreed to attend a Candidate Forum hosted by the League of Women Voters in Madison County on March 6th. During the 2012 cycle, there was just one candidate forum held between the Democratic candidates during the primary.

“I’ve really enjoyed speaking to voters all around our district and look forward to sharing my vision for Congress at future events,” said Callis. “I truly believe in public service, and am proud of work I’ve done on behalf of veterans and middle-class families. In Washington, I’ll stand up for Illinois families to strengthen our economy, help veterans returning from service, and protecting Medicare and Social Security for generations to come.”

Callis has earned the support of the Illinois AFL-CIO, the Illinois Police, the Amalgamated Transit Union, the Boilermakers, the Machinists, the United Food and Commercial Workers, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and the Operating Engineers Local 399. She has the endorsement of Senator Durbin, EMILY’s List, the Champaign County Young Democrats, and all three of the County Democratic Parties who voted on endorsements (Jersey, Madison and Macon).
